High Salary/Full-Time English Teacher near Hanoi, Vietnam
Position Details
• Job Type: Full-time
• Location: Bac Ninh Province (20km north of Hanoi)
• Duration: 5-10 months
• Salary: $1000-$150 USD per month; approx 15usd/hour
• Hours: 20-30 hours per week (Monday-Friday)
• Vacation: weekends, holidays, and 2 months a year
• Age of students: 5-18 years old; we will match you to your preferred grades
• Type of school: public primary/secondary schools & private English clubs
• Class size: 30-40 students

At Starlight Hanoi, we connect native-speaking English teachers toprimary and secondary schools in the Hanoi area. Located in Tu Son approximately 20km (30 minutes) from the center of Hanoi, we cater to suburban and rural schools.
What makes us different? We provide a highly competitive salary while preparing you for your teaching job with a unique 1-week training course. Unlike many programs, we arm you with information on teaching and Vietnamese culture to ensure a seamless transition into your new job.
NOTE: While we prefer native English speakers, we believe that everyone deserves a chance to prove their ability. So even if you are not a native English speaker, we encourage you to apply!
Salary and Benefits
• Salary: $15 USD per hour (approx. $1000-$1500 USD per month)
• Bonus: $200 for a 10-month contract
• 1-week training course with accommodation to fully prepare you for teaching
• 24/7 support and teaching materials
• Help with acquiring a visa and work permit
• Help finding suitable accommodations
• Free Vietnamese SIM card and data
Candidate Requirements
• TEFL, TESOL, CELTA or comparable teaching certificate
• Humorous, friendly, and responsible individual
• Ability to plan lessons that will engage and teach students
• Native English speaker (United Kingdom, United States, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, South Africa, Ireland) preferred
• Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
• Teaching experience (preferred)

Through us, teachers will be placed with grades that fit their expertise and abilities. We cater to both primary and secondary schools, as well as public schools and private English clubs.
We work primarily with native English speakers who have received a teaching certification (TESOL, TEFL, CELTA, or equivalent). However, if you are a non-native English speaker with the proper certification, please apply. As we may have a position for you.
